DESIGN FEATURES & CAPACITY The majestic interior, with its immense vaulted ceiling, and many unique features, including chandeliers, original hand painted proscenium, historic six paneled art deco standee and one of the few remaining working scalloped curtains have been retained. The interior Ionic capitals, plaster medallions, ornaments, and trim have been replicated, restored, and finished with gold leaf. Other heralded design elements include stunning acoustics, intelligent lighting, three levels with four full service bars, the largest wooden dance floor in Virginia, twelve VIP balconies, six VIP booths and the Penthouse Lounge which offers great site lines from literally every area of the theater.
